Para ello, se abordará el funcionamiento y las transformaciones del Poder Legislativo en el país, en un amplio marco temporal (siglos XIX-XXI). Las sesiones del curso ofrecerán distintos enfoques (historia, ciencias políticas y derecho constitucional), con los que se analizarán temas relativos a aquel Poder Legislativo en el Perú. Entre ellos, las bases teóricas de los sistemas bicameral y unicameral, los momentos de tensiones entre los poderes Ejecutivo y Legislativo, y la participación de las primeras mujeres parlamentarias.
